A Little Polar

a little polar, a little hide
an override, a low tide
a game plan, a free ride
a bit smug, a bit snide
a closed closet, long and wide
the right thing, the wrong side
a long walk, a cold guide
the king wept, the queen lied
the queen wept, the king died

things

the weight of things
like a horror movie
the world gone to shit
when you make a wrong turn
when you open the door to
a wrong person
a table will pretty much
sit where you put it
but things
have to be rounded up
and restrained
